ARTICLE II
MEMBERSHIP
Proposed: Notwithstanding the fact that membership shall be restricted to clubs, the Western Region shall have jurisdiction over any individual member of DVG in the Western Region where expressly provided in these By-Laws or the laws and rules of Landesverband DVG America or DVG.

DIRECTORS & OFFICERS
Proposed: All Board members shall be members in good standing of DVG and an affiliated club within the Western Region. The OFS shall be automatically removed from the Executive Board for failure to maintain a helper’s license, as certified under the requirements of the DHV, at any time during the term of office.

The California mandatory sterilization bill, AB 1634, was tabled because of lack of support. This does not mean it is permanently defeated so please pay attention to further developments and continue to support efforts to stop this type of legislation.
